Hi everyone, I’m seriously considering pursuing FCPS Haematology and would really appreciate guidance from those who have gone through the training or are currently enrolled. I understand that this specialty focuses on diagnosing and managing blood disorders, including anemia, bleeding disorders, transfusion medicine, and hematologic malignancies like leukemia and lymphoma.
However, I’d love to know what the training experience is actually like. Which institutions in Pakistan provide strong clinical exposure and mentorship? How intense is the workload compared to other specialties? Also, how challenging are the FCPS Haematology exams, and what study strategies or resources did you find most helpful?
For those who have completed FCPS Haematology, how has it impacted your career in terms of job opportunities, private practice, or further fellowships like bone marrow transplant? Any honest advice about choosing the right training center, managing exam pressure, and balancing work-life responsibilities would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!
