Looking for genuinely affordable online MBA options in India- here's what I found

So I spent the last couple of weeks digging into budget-friendly MBA options since I can't afford a career break or a fat tuition bill right now. A few things I learned that might help others in the same boat:

Most people assume "cheap" means low quality, but that's not always true. There are several UGC-entitled universities offering solid online MBA programs in the ₹1–2 lakh range, and a few even under ₹1 lakh depending on the specialization you go for.

If you're actually trying to find the cheapest online MBA in India, don't just Google "cheap MBA" and pick the first result — check UGC recognition first, then compare fees, then look at placement support. In that order. I almost enrolled somewhere that looked legit but wasn't even UGC entitled for online degrees. Total waste of money if I'd gone through with it.

Also worth asking about hidden costs — exam fees, study material charges, etc. Some universities bundle everything, others don't.

Anyone here actually completed one of these programs? Would love to know which university's counselling process felt the most transparent.
