I'm coming up on 90,000 km on my 2017 Wrangler and the dealer recommends changing spark plugs every 80k, but my car still starts and runs fine – no misfires or rough idle. A friend told me that the extreme heat here can wear plugs faster, so maybe I shouldn't delay. I'd rather not pay dealer labor rates for a simple job, but I also don't want to hand it to any random garage that might use cheap plugs or overtighten them. I found a page mentioning the Best Jeep Spark Plug Service Abu Dhabi and I'm wondering if anyone here has used a shop that actually uses OEM iridium plugs and follows the correct torque specs. Also, is it worth doing the coil boots at the same time, or just the plugs? I plan to keep the Jeep for a couple more years so I want it done right. Would appreciate any recommendations for a trustworthy place in Mussafah that won't overcharge. Cheers.
