📋 Quick Summary

This is a two-year contract role (until 31 March 2028) focused on reviewing and reorganising the V&A's stored collections. You'll be improving documentation, care, and accountability across multiple London sites and offsite storage locations.

🔑 What You'll Be Doing

• 🗂️ Carrying out collections storage activities across multiple V&A London sites and offsite stores
• Supervising and working with external contractors on object movement and transport
• Handling and packing objects in line with collections care standards
• Overseeing object location control and accountability

✅ What They're Looking For

• Hands-on experience working with a museum collection or archive
• Familiarity with a collections management system or digital asset management tools
• Ability to lift, carry, and work at height comfortably 💪
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to travel between sites
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
